EBAC Baseball

The Etna Borough Athletic Club would like to congratulate three of its teams for becoming 2017 Champions!  Both of the Etna Little League teams were crowned Champions in “S.A.B.A”.  Little League 1 went undefeated and won the Tier 1 title.  Little League 2 were also crowned Champions as well, winning the Tier 2 competition.  We also congratulate Etna 12U Fast Pitch girls’ team for winning the “GPGSL” Tier 2 game.  EBAC sends thanks to all who have helped their organization for all their hard work and dedication to making the Etna season a great success.

If you want more info on Fall Ball, contact Rich Thom at Richtom14@gmailcom.  Registration forms are in the lobby of the municipal building as well.  Registration for the Spring season takes place in January, and dates will be announced on their website.

Etna Deckhockey
has been a part of the Etna Borough community since 1995, and area kids from 5 to 13 years old have been learning the fundamentals of hockey here ever since. Games and practices are located at the Tony Damiano Memorial Deck, which was constructed in 1995 using donated funds from Allegheny County, The Fugh Foundation, Tippins Inc, and various private donors. The deck is located at 1 Pine St next to the Etna pool and playground.

Our league places an emphasis on good sportsmanship and team play. It is designed so that all players have a chance to learn to properly and safely play the game. There are 2 sessions, spring and fall, each having 8 games plus playoffs. There typically are 6 senior teams (ages 10,11, and 12) and 6 junior teams (ages 7,8, and 9), as well as a developmental team for 5 and 6 year olds. When the deck is not being used for organized games or practices, it is open to the public at no cost.
